The Feast of Pentecost, or
Shavuot as it is called in Hebrew, is one of the three commanded feasts of the Old Testament. This means
everyone is required to observe them. In Deuteronomy 16:16, God reminds us concerning these commanded feasts:
Don’t come empty
handed.
