Dear Friends,
Pastor Rod Parsley's beloved mother, Mrs. Ellen E. Parsley, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on
Tuesday, January 30, 2018. She was surrounded by her family at her home-going, and is now beholding the face of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Parsley, affectionately known as Mother Parsley, was a founding member of World Harvest Church. Throughout the years she had been a faithful
and tireless administrator, gifted minister of the gospel and fervent advocate for her family and this ministry. Mrs. Parsley’s support was essential
to the birth, growth and continuing success of World Harvest Church, Breakthrough and the many other ministry entities. As a wife, mother,
grandmother, advisor, confidant and friend, her contributions have been inestimable and will be irreplaceable.

“I’ll tell you what Mother Parsley told me when I was 19, and I was depressed because our church wasn’t growing. She said, 'Why don’t you go out and pray
for somebody?' She said, 'You’ve been in there in the bedroom praying for the anointing. The bed doesn’t need it, but there’s somebody out there that
does; and if you’ll go give it away, you’ll get your joy back.' ” - Pastor Parsley

“The lady that brought me into this planet is my mother, Mrs. Ellen Parsley. I want to thank her. I want to thank her, because on Diley Road, when I was
driving everybody in my family crazy, she looked at me and said, “Well, what do you want to do with your life?” And I screamed out, “Maybe I want to preach.”
And then I said, “No, I don’t. I have no idea why I said that.” She never said one time, “You ought to preach.” She said, “That’s between you and God.
My hands are off of that.” I want to thank her for driving me all over this country in an old navy blue Lincoln Continental. She’d drive all night, and I’d
sleep all night and preach somewhere 150 nights a year. I want to thank her for loving my dad. I want to thank her for loving my older sister and for loving
her first granddaughter, Amy, who is a miracle. I want to thank her for saying Joni was too good for me. I want to thank her for loving Ashton Blaire and
Austin Chandler. I want to thank her for believing in me. She never one time doubted me. Not one time. I want to say I love you.” - Pastor Parsley

“In a place called Lovely, Kentucky. A child was born to Samuel and Eva Endicott. After she was born in Lovely, and then across the road a little piece,
married to James Parsley in Beauty, Kentucky, not to be confused with Lovely. You can only imagine how a person’s life is going to turn out, born in
Lovely and married in Beauty. And she is the exemplification and personification of them both.” - Pastor Parsley
