Dear Friend,
The second day of the feast of Passover on the God’s calendar is here – as is the
second day of our
Seven Drops of Spotless Blood email teaching series.
We have all experienced physical pain, whether from a minor cut or scrape, a
surgical procedure, an unfortunate physical occurrence, or even a major illness.
No matter what the source of your suffering, I’ve got good news for you:
There is power in the name of Jesus, and healing that flows freely from our King!
The prophet Isaiah saw something happen many, many centuries
before they actually took
place. He wrote about it in Isaiah 53:5,
“with his stripes we are
healed.” What was he seeing?
The Lamb of God, spilling His blood at the flogging post where they, with the lash of the cat of
nine tails, ripped the flesh from his bones until His internal organs were exposed. His blood ran
down His naked side. His flesh looked like ribbons around His legs.
When the Lord Jesus Christ suffered as the Lamb of God, He did not
ONLY secure our salvation.
He provided a means by which we could be healed as well!
Healing is not a question - it’s a fact!
In the New Testament, Jesus was asked an astounding 19 different times concerning His will to heal.
Through every encounter, the question “Is it your will to heal me?” was answered...
and every time, He responded with the impossible: miracle healing, and a resounding
“I am willing!”
In fact, God even calls “Healer” a part of His name! It’s not just a characteristic -
it’s a core component of WHO He is! In Exodus 15:22, God says, “
I am Jehovah Rophecha”
- which literally translates - “I am the LORD Who-Heals-You!”
Today, we can claim that healing for ourselves because of the blood of Christ!
In fact, many times when Jesus was asked for healing, He responded with an instruction.
It
is the instruction from God that you choose to obey that determines the future you create.
It is your faithful obedience that causes miraculous response!
My friend, God is still in the business of performing miracles. Healing is not only a promise of God;
it is part of His very name, and was bought for you by the precious, spotless, crimson blood of Christ
our Healer. Don’t leave the healing Jesus provisioned for you by His blood on the table - seize
it in faith and obedience!
