DAY SIX: Overcome with Favor
Sunday, April 28th – Obedience brings forth blessing!
Dear Friend,
Today is the 6th day of this prophetic Passover season and of my
Seven Drops of Spotless Blood
email teaching series.
Before sin entered the world, God had given mankind a gift - a method of performing
worship and exercising
purpose... a task that was rewarding and effectual:
keeping the garden. You and I call this
work.
Work had been a gift to man. But as a result of the mankind’s wickedness in
defining good and evil on our own terms, and the resulting curse, it would become a
tiresome and strenuous labor that would yield far less rewarding results.
In Genesis 3, one of the consequences of Adam's sin was the cursing of ground, that
“in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; thorns also and
thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and ... in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat
bread.”
Though man's sin resulting in the cursing of the ground that
day, I am so thankful that God Almighty had no intention of leaving the world in such a
predicament! He sent another Adam - Christ, our Redeemer! And when those nails pierced
Jesus's hands, covering them in His priceless, matchless blood, it opened an opportunity
for your hands to be covered with God's incredible blessing, that
when you sow, you can expect a supernatural harvest
as the blood of Jesus consumes and eradicates every ounce of the curse and replaces
it with blessing!
- Psalm 128:2 declares, “You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your
hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well
with you.”
- Deuteronomy 28:8 shouts, “The Lord will command the blessing
on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand...”
Did you see it?
God wants to command blessing on you and everything to
which you set your hand!
God's commands are not optional. What He says WILL come to pass. That means blessing is also
not optional! Your hand IS blessed, according to your obedience to His command.
- Psalm 128:1 says, “Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways.”
- Deuteronomy 28:1 says “Now it will be, if you will diligently obey the voice of
the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments, then the LORD
your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings will
come on you and overtake you...”
What are we to do at Passover? It is a commanded feast season! Deuteronomy 16:16 says three times
a year we
“must appear before the LORD your God” - and He says we
“must not appear before the LORD empty-handed.” The first of these commanded
feasts is Unleavened Bread - at Passover!
Verse 17 goes on:
“Every man must give as
he is able, in proportion to the blessing of the LORD your God, which He has given you.”
That's why I've been urging you to
sow your Passover Offering and
send me your prayer needs. I want to make sure that you activate the fullness of
God's Passover anointings according to Exodus 23. Your offering will support the work of the Gospel of
Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, through our worldwide
